Administrators can allow a suspended account or mobile device to regain ZixOne access. Allowed is the default ZixOne access setting for open accounts and registered mobile devices.
To allow ZixOne access to a suspended account or mobile device:
1. | On the main menu, select People. |
The People screen displays.
2. | Select a mobile device owner's account. |
The account detail view displays, including a column listing all mobile devices registered under the selected account.
3. | Select Manage. |
The Manage Account & Devices dialog box displays.
4. | Optionally, in Account Access, select Allowed. |
ZixOne immediately allows access for the account and all mobile devices under it.
Note: | If a newly allowed mobile device also had its passcode reset, the mobile device owner must reset the mobile device passcode before gaining access. |
5. | Optionally in Device Access, select Allowed for one or more mobile devices. |
Access to ZixOne is restored immediately as you select Allowed for each mobile device. A confirmation message displays in the bottom-right corner.
Note: | The options to allow or reset a mobile device are unavailable if Suspended is selected in Account Access. |
6. | Click away from the Manage Accounts & Devices dialog box to close it. |
The People screen displays allowed mobile device labels in blue in the Device column and displays Allowed in the Access column, unless Reset status overrides Allowed status.
